How To Set Default Homepage In Chrome

Everyone has that ‘go-to website’ where we visit we have nothing else to do. For some, it can be Netflix and for others, it can be our website Technical Jayendra. Regardless of whatever that site is, you can set that page as your default homepage quite easily and that is what we are going to see today.

One thing to note here is that the homepage and startup page is different. The startup page is what you see when you open the Chrome browser and the Homepage is what you see after clicking on the Home button. So, let’s check out how you can customize your Homepage on both PC and smartphone.

On PCs

  1. Open Chrome
  2. Go to Settings > Appearance
  3. Turn on the ‘Show home button’
  4. Below that, click on the radio button ‘Enter custom web address’
  5. Paste the URL of the website you want to set as the home page.
