How To Save Passwords In Google Chrome

Google Password saving feature is quite useful, mostly because of how easy it is to use. You don’t need to install any extension or anything, just enable the feature and forget your passwords!
And if you don’t know how you can enable this feature then you’re on the right page. In this article, I will be talking about how you can enable Chrome’s password-saving feature on your PC and smartphone. So, let’s get started.
On PCs
- Launch Chrome
- Go to Settings > Autofill > Passwords
- Turn on the ‘Offer to save passwords’ option.
- Close the tab.

On Smartphones
- Open the Chrome app
- Go to Settings > Passwords
- Turn on the ‘Save passwords’ option
- Close the settings menu.

Once you’ve set it up, Chrome will give you the option to save passwords. Whenever you visit any site and use your credentials and log in, you will notice a pop-up that will ask you whether you want to save the password. You have to click on Save to confirm it.
Pro Tip: Google’s password manager isn’t the most secure option for saving passwords. If someone has the access to your Gmail account he can have the access to all your passwords. So, I’d recommend you to use password managers like LastPass or Bitwarden for the best security of your passwords.
